Meet April
Hi, I'm April - a professionally trained semi permanent makeup artist based in London. With a passion for beauty that began with helping my little cousin fix his eyebrow mishap, I turned my love for aesthetics into a career. After completing my studies in Medical Engineering and Biochemical Engineering, I trained in permanent makeup at Natural Enhancement and the Permanent Makeup Training Academy.
I specialise in providing clients with flawless brows, lip blush, eyeliner, and anti-ageing face massages that leave you feeling confident and radiant. Whether you’re looking to wake up with makeup or learn the secrets to glowing skin, I offer personalised services and expert training at my academy. My focus is on helping women feel beautiful and empowered, using the latest techniques in skincare and beauty.

Bespoke Journey
Behind The Magic!
We conduct a thorough consultation to understand your needs, ensuring a tailored treatment for natural-looking results.
Using high-quality, sterile equipment, we follow strict health and safety guidelines to provide a safe, comfortable experience. Sessions take 1.5 to 3 hours.
A top-up session 4-6 weeks after your initial treatment helps achieve the perfect colour and shape for long-lasting results.
Over time, colour can fade. A colour booster refreshes your semi-permanent makeup for a revived, vibrant look.
Frequently Asked Questions
Permanent makeup – aka micropigmentation, semi-permanent makeup and microblading – is a form of cosmetic tattooing. With conventional tattoos, inks are applied to the deepest layers of the skin and are designed to last forever. Permanent makeup uses pigments applied to the mid layers of the skin – these harmless pigments fade over time and while some may remain in the skin they can’t be seen by the naked eye.
Permanent makeup usually lasts between 1 and 3 years. It varies depending on individual skin type, exposure to UV rays, age, health and any medication you’re taking. A top-up treatment is recommended every 12-18 months to boost the colour.
Some people want a subtle enhancement, others desire a more dramatic look. It’s great for active types to keep them streak- and smudge-free during swimming and sports. And ideal if you want ‘convenient beauty’ – to wake up and your makeup is done! Permanent makeup is also of benefit to people with impaired vision, an unsteady hand or who’ve lost their hair due to alopecia or cancer. You can also have PMU if you’re allergic to conventional makeup.
This will vary from person to person. However with the use of topical anaesthetic cream – which I’m very generous with! – you should experience minimal discomfort. Some people just feel a prickly or scratchy sensation. Some people fall asleep!
Yes. I use state-of-the-art digital technology and conform to the highest standards of hygiene. All pigments used are hypoallergenic and treatment won’t be carried out unless you’ve had a 24-hour patch test.
This is when we’ll discuss the look you want and I’ll advise you on the colours, shapes and styles that will best suit your natural colouring and image. I’ll use makeup on your face to show you how it will look and I’ll answer any questions. Your pre-treatment consultation ensures you’re 100% happy with what you’ve decided before you go ahead.
Every treatment is bespoke so timings will differ. I always allow a minimum of 2 hours – it gives us time to chat about what you want and for me to perfect the design and colour before starting the treatment. It’s important that you feel relaxed and unrushed while you’re here.
If you follow the aftercare advice there should be minimal risk of complications. You’ll be given aftercare instructions before you leave your treatment session.
Immediately after your treatment the colour will be intense and appear darker than the final result. There may also be some swelling and redness which will settle down anywhere between an hour and a couple of days.
Yes. Over the first 2-3 days a thin film forms to make a ‘scab’ – it’s important not to pick, pull or rub this as it will take away the pigment. With eye treatments, when the film naturally flakes off the colour will appear quite faint at first – be patient as this will intensify over the next couple of weeks. With lip treatment, during the healing process the colour will appear very bold and bright at first, then fade before intensifying again over the next 3-4 weeks.
The healing process is different for everyone. When you come back in six weeks after the treatment area has settled down I’ll check how it looks. The colour may be lighter than you wanted or it may be patchy in parts. That’s completely normal. During your top-up session I’ll review the shape, colour and style and make any minor tweaks so that you’re happy.
You have to be 18 to have PMU, and it’s not suitable for pregnant or nursing women. If you have a serious medical condition you may require a doctor’s letter.
