Permanent Brows

Microblading, digital permanent makeup, ombre – how do you know what to go for? That’s where April come in. At our preview session we’ll chat about the look you’d like and She’ll explain the technique she’ll use to achieve it. Then she’ll give you a mini makeover so you can check out how your eyebrows could look. If you like what you see, you can get your 24-hour patch test and book in for a permanent treatment.

Microblading | £645

With microblading – aka 3D hair simulation – a super-fine blade is used to manually create tiny strokes that are then coloured in with pigment. The result is ‘pretend’ hairs that look right at home with your natural eyebrows. This real brow look is perfect for subtle enhancement without a made-up look.

Powder effect | £645

Using a digital permanent makeup machine, the powder – or shaded – effect gives definition and shape for a more polished look. You can opt for a little light shading for subtle enhancement or heavier shading for stronger definition. You might even want to go for ombre – dark-to-light shading that comes in all kinds of combinations.

Combination | £795

Also known as blading and shading, this is a beautiful combination of the pretend hair and powder effect. Hair is simulated at the front of the brows – ideal if you’ve overplucked in this area – then shading creates added definition.

Price includes consultation, treatment and top-up session.

Permanent Lips

Permanent Lips

Life is for living – not worrying about your lips. Want to plump up the volume? Need to even things up? Love to say so long to lipliner? With permanent lip treatment you can. Forget the hassle and the drama and get lush, lovely lips – ready to go whenever you are.

Lip contour | £595

If you’re fed up with your lip liner bleeding or struggling to get the perfect line, lip contour is the way to go. Outlining your lips will give subtle definition and add a bit of extra fullness. As for colour, you can either match the lip liner to your natural lips or have it blend in with your favourite lipstick.

with soft blush | £695

For a subtle look that still gives definition and fullness, the lip contour and soft blush combo is a winner. Colour starts at the outer lips, softly fades towards the centre and finishes with your natural lip colour. The result is a barely-there blush you’ll love.

Full lip colour | £895

Want to go all the way? With a full lip colour treatment you get coverage from top to bottom. You’ll get a defined lip shape without the need for liner plus a colour pop in whatever subtle or striking shade you choose. So you can go bold – but still look effortlessly natural.

Price includes consultation, treatment and top-up session.

Permanent Eyeliner

Would you love a summer holiday with sun, sea and streak-proof eyes? To work out without worrying about smudged eyeliner? To jump out of bed with wide-awake eyes? With permanent eyeliner treatment you can have it all – and beautifully enhanced eyes, too.

Lash enhancement | £295

Upper or Lower Lids

Micro-fine ‘dots’ of pigment are applied along the base of your lash line, leaving a super-subtle colour line that creates the appearance of longer, thicker lashes. Perfect if you want your eyes to pop without going for a full eyeliner look.

Fine eyeliner | £345

Upper or Lower Lids

Permanent eyeliner is carefully drawn in between the lash line and slightly above it. The result is a slick yet subtly defined look

medium thick | £495

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s On Your Mind?

What is Semi-Permanent Makeup?

Permanent makeup – aka micropigmentation, semi-permanent makeup and microblading – is a form of cosmetic tattooing. With conventional tattoos, inks are applied to the deepest layers of the skin and are designed to last forever. Permanent makeup uses pigments applied to the mid layers of the skin – these harmless pigments fade over time and while some may remain in the skin they can’t be seen by the naked eye.

So how long will it actually last?

Permanent makeup usually lasts between 1 and 3 years. It varies depending on individual skin type, exposure to UV rays, age, health and any medication you’re taking. A top-up treatment is recommended every 12-18 months to boost the colour.

Who is permanent makeup for?

Some people want a subtle enhancement, others desire a more dramatic look. It’s great for active types to keep them streak- and smudge-free during swimming and sports. And ideal if you want ‘convenient beauty’ – to wake up and your makeup is done! Permanent makeup is also of benefit to people with impaired vision, an unsteady hand or who’ve lost their hair due to alopecia or cancer. You can also have PMU if you’re allergic to conventional makeup.

Does it hurt?

This will vary from person to person. However with the use of topical anaesthetic cream – which I’m very generous with! – you should experience minimal discomfort. Some people just feel a prickly or scratchy sensation. Some people fall asleep!

Is it safe?

Yes. I use state-of-the-art digital technology and conform to the highest standards of hygiene. All pigments used are hypoallergenic and treatment won’t be carried out unless you’ve had a 24-hour patch test.

Why do I need a pre-treatment consultation?

This is when we’ll discuss the look you want and I’ll advise you on the colours, shapes and styles that will best suit your natural colouring and image. I’ll use makeup on your face to show you how it will look and I’ll answer any questions. Your pre-treatment consultation ensures you’re 100% happy with what you’ve decided before you go ahead.

How long does the treatment take?

Every treatment is bespoke so timings will differ. I always allow a minimum of 2 hours – it gives us time to chat about what you want and for me to perfect the design and colour before starting the treatment. It’s important that you feel relaxed and unrushed while you’re here.

Is there a risk of complications?

If you follow the aftercare advice there should be minimal risk of complications. You’ll be given aftercare instructions before you leave your treatment session.

What will I look like after my treatment?

Immediately after your treatment the colour will be intense and appear darker than the final result. There may also be some swelling and redness which will settle down anywhere between an hour and a couple of days.

Does the treatment area need time to heal?

Yes. Over the first 2-3 days a thin film forms to make a ‘scab’ – it’s important not to pick, pull or rub this as it will take away the pigment. With eye treatments, when the film naturally flakes off the colour will appear quite faint at first – be patient as this will intensify over the next couple of weeks. With lip treatment, during the healing process the colour will appear very bold and bright at first, then fade before intensifying again over the next 3-4 weeks.

Why do I need a top-up treatment?

The healing process is different for everyone. When you come back in six weeks after the treatment area has settled down I’ll check how it looks. The colour may be lighter than you wanted or it may be patchy in parts. That’s completely normal. During your top-up session I’ll review the shape, colour and style and make any minor tweaks so that you’re happy.

Who isn’t suitable for permanent makeup?

You have to be 18 to have PMU, and it’s not suitable for pregnant or nursing women. If you have a serious medical condition you may require a doctor’s letter.

Do you offer refunds?

London Permanent Makeup do not offer refunds. All sales are final, and London Permanent Makeup does not offer any money-back guarantees. You recognise and agree that you shall not be entitled to a refund for any purchase under any circumstances.
